(One of) mine is "The Windflower," by Sharon and Tom Curtis (published as Laura London). The visual descriptions and amazing characterization just blow me away every time I read it. I always wanted a follow-up book with Cat as the main character. I highly recommend this historical romance.

I have only started my reading career :) so I haven't had too many to choose from but my favorite author so far is Jill Gregory and I love her book "Cold Night, Warm Stranger" and would love to see it made into a movie.

About the Phantom. I had never seen any Phantom until the movie and I love Gerard Butler so I am spoiled for my Phantom life. I could never watch another person plan the Phantom even though I am sure that all the others were great esp. Michael Crawford. Gerard will always be #1 with me.
