And, Joanna... please make sure that when you have a release date you post it to the debut authors forum! (And, of course, anywhere else you want to post it!!) I just think that there are a lot of people out there like me who like to read debut authors. I've always wished for one central place to hear about all the debut authors. So, if there are others like me, they might be looking in that forum for debut author info! LOL!
I'm thrilled to announce that my new over-40 contemporary release, The Model Man is available today from The Wild Rose Press.
Here is the back cover blurb:
Single mom and romance novelist Kelly Michaels has no time for a man in her life. But when mega-famous cover model Derek Calavicci puts the moves on her at a romance writers’ conference, she succumbs to temptation. Common sense prevails, however, and after a few passionate kisses she turns him down; she has impressionable teenagers at home, after all, she doesn’t need a one-night-stand with a much younger man, no matter how hot he is. When photos of their passionate moonlight kiss hit the tabloids, her agent has to do some fast footwork to save her reputation. Will the notorious bad boy go along with her scheme?
Derek rarely hears a woman say “no” – it’s been that way his entire life. If Kelly isn’t interested, he’s not going to push her-- even if she does melt like ice cream on a hot sidewalk every time he touches her. But when an unexpected opportunity falls into his lap by way of Kelly’s scheming agent, he jumps at the chance. Pretend he’s in love with Kelly Michaels for two weeks? No problem. After all, the lady may say she’s never going to sleep with him... but he's got two weeks to convince her otherwise.
I like the fact that they are reissuing some of the earlier publications of authors now. I know that there have been times that I have read a book and it was a sequel to.....FRUSTRATING!
So Ms. Mandy,,,,any little hints about what/who Night Master is going to be about?????
Tammy
Hi Tammy ~ Night's Master is Rafe Cordova's story...I just finished reading the copy edited manuscript. I really like this book! The next book in the series is about his twin brother, Rane, and the one after that is about Mara, the oldest vampire in the series. The last two books aren't titled yet. Well, they are, but I'm sure my editor will change them!
The back cover copy for Night's Master says: Kathy McKenna was sure that the little Midwestern town of Oak Hollow would be isolated enough for safety, but the moment the black-clad stranger walked into her bookstore, she knew she was wrong. Raphael Cordova exudes smoldering power, and his sensual touch draws Kathy into a world of limitless pleasure and unimaginable dangers.
Oak Hollow was supposed to be neutral territory for Supernatural beings. Instead it has become home to an evil force determined to destroy them—and kill any mortal who gets in the way. As leader of the North American vampires, Raphael has always put duty first, but then, no woman ever enthralled him the way Kathy does. And as the enemy’s terrifying plan is revealed, Raphael’s desire could be a fatal distraction for all his kind, and for the woman he has sworn to love forever.
I recently agreed to do a short story for an anthology titled The Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance, which is supposed to be out this August.
