Help me find the name of this book

I read a book a few year back and want to re-read but can't recall the title. It was about a wealthy girl and a guy from the wrong side of the tracks. The twist occured at the end when she was talking with his mother. The mom knew she was the one for him because she thought his eyes were green but to everyone else they were plain gray.
