Some of my favorite authors include Jim Butcher, Patricia Briggs, Charlaine Harris, Kathleen Eagle, and Maggie Shayne.
Tell us a little about you:
I've been published for 21 years and have written over 50 books. Paranormal is my favorite genre to read and write. I collect Star Wars stuff, Beauty and the Beast stuff, Phantom of the Opera stuff, and rubber ducks.

Favorite ways to spend my time include taking walks in the morning, going to the theater and movies, spending time with my family. My favorite stage plays are Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and Jekyll and Hyde.

Favorite TV shows (current and cancelled) include Moonlight, New Amsterdam, The Dresden Files, Blood Ties, Ghost Whisperer, LOST, Invasion, Surface, and Frasier.

I have a Pomeranian puppy named Ladyi, a tortoise named Buddy, a wild sparrow named Tweety, and a mean cat named Tigger.

It's May

Well, we had a sad thing happen in our house. Our Pomeranian, Teddi, passed away at the age of 17 1/2. Hard to remember a time when she wasn't with us.

We recently bought a new puppy, another Pomeranian. Her name is Lady and she's already found a place in our hearts. It's hard to be sad when she's around. She's quite a character. Right now, she's asleep on the floor of my office.

How the time flies

The last time I posted here, my book, NIGHT'S MASTER, had just come out. Now, as I write this, my book, NIGHT'S PLEASURE, is due out at the end of the month. It's the 4th book in the series. The 5th book, tentatively titled NIGHT'S MISTRESS, will be out next year.

I have two books coming out this year ~ Night's Master, and a book as yet untitled, which is due in October.

Long Time

Well, it's been months since I've updated my page. The third book in my Night series - Night's Master - is in stores now. I'm happy to say that it's been on the USA Today bestseller list for the last two weeks, a rare treat for me.

The fourth book in my Night series - Night's Pleasure - will be out in February. (For those who have read the excerpt from Night's Illusion in the back of Night's Master, be advised that my editor changed the title to Night's Pleasure).

Madeline Baker Rides Again

I'm happy to announce that my historical time travel book, currently titled Shadows Through Time, has been picked up by Cerridwen Press. It will be published first as an eBook, and then in paperback. I don't have any details as to a pub date yet. My agent thinks the turn around time will be about six months. I'm just happy it's being published!

I just finished Deeper Than the Night the other day. I usually am not one to appreciate science fiction romances. But yours was very mesmerizing. I could hardly put it down. The views expressed in the book about aliens looking a lot like us humans here on earth, are those your views? Because it makes sense to me. :)
