- What sub-genres of Romance do you read and/or write
- I write paranormal and contemporary romance, and I read almost every sub-genre. I especially love historicals (Julia Quinn, Eloisa James, Lisa Kleypas), and of course adore paranormals (Gena Showalter, Jessica Andersen, Kresley Cole, J.R. Ward). I like bigger, more mainstream books that have romantic elements, too.
- Tell us a little about you:
- I'm an avid reader of all genres, not just romance. Recently have been on a big nonfiction kick of reading modern military history, in part to learn more backstory for one of my characters in my Gods of Midnight series (Mason Angel), but also because I find history--even that currently being made--fascinating. I chose the Spartans for my Gods of Midnight series for that reason, my love of history combined with appreciation for warriors of any era. Who *couldn't* appreciate history's greatest ones, right?
I'm also a literary agent and own The Knight Agency, which I launched almost fourteen years ago (yikes, that's scary). I'm proud to have discovered many authors who fans know and love, and count myself blessed to work with such talented, created people--readers AND writers--for a living.
I'm a mom, love to crochet, am an avid film buff, and am fascinated with emerging technology and digital culture.

Hi, Guys!
I'm new here, and will admit that I'm not entirely sure of protocol. However, from what I gather, authors are allowed and encouraged to post. Am I correct? Anyway, I'm trying something tonight that I've never done, which is participating in a Second Life chat. If you've never been to that site, it's a really cool thing. You'd want to come by early and be sure you've registered. And try it out--I once deleted my hair by accident!! :)
