- my dear friend and critique partner, Nicole McCaffrey, invited me to join. Her first full length novel is out now; my second novel came our a year ago. We both agreed we need to do more effective promotion.

- I write romantic suspense. I read the same plus legal suspense, political thrillers, some medical suspense--depending on the author.

Another bad boy heard from
Nic McCaffrey described her bad boy of Summerville: Nick Mulrooney, "the stud of Summerville" blows into town on the back of a Ducati motorcycle. He's already made me laugh out loud.
My hero, Rafael Archangeli, is the first Son of Summerville to appear. The title is Mad Dog and the Archangel.

Or you can just click on the Chat tab at the top of RBJ.
When you get there, look to the bottom right of the chat box. There is a little button that says "Set Your Name"
Click on that. It will pop-up a box that gives you two options. The first option is to use a temporary name just for that chat session. The second option allows you to create an account (free and I have never received any spam from them) so that you can use it for other chats that you might attend.

Funny, I didn't even realize the doggie was your avatar. I just clicked on it because it looks exactly like my yella fella. Same forlorn face. Sorry about your loss. Our 'Buddie' was recently diagnosed with cancer. Because he's 11 and the lumps are numerous, I'm sure we'll have a tough decision to make in the near future.
Hey, did ya see? Did ya? All three of 'our' recent releases were on the Last Rose of Summer best seller list at once! Alex, Suzette & Riana are rockin'. Whee!

- the photo is of my beloved Tucker, a lab-golden retriever mix with the most forlorn face and biggest eyes. We lost him to a brain tumor in April 2006, on the same day our newborn grandchild came home from the hospital. I miss him every day and wish that my precious Meredith could have known him as I did.
I wish I could figure out how to respond to messages from others. Maybe one day I'll get the hang of it.
