What sub-genres of Romance do you read and/or write

Most importantly I write historical/paranormal romance.
I read the same as I write, but I also love Regency romance and if the book is right, the odd contemporary romance.

Tell us a little about you:

I'm a fairly easy going person and I enjoy good food, good conversations and a good glass of wine. I love spending my free time with my husband and my 3 cats. I love history, any kind really, but I especially love Scottish/English. For me the perfect leading man is tall, dark and handsome, think Adrian Paul from Highlander. I'm also a sucker for men with long hair, it just makes them seem, well more untamed to put it. The perfect leading lady is headstrong, passionate and in need of being loved forever, even though she doesn't want to admit at first, much like the man. I've been writing since I was 12 years of age, albeit those ones were quite silly! Since then writing has become a passion of mine and I have many half written works that are a mix of paranormal, erotic fiction and historical romance. However I've just finished writing my first true labor of love, "At First Glance" which is Sir Brendan Campbell and Lady Evelyn Richmond's story. It's a historical romance based in the 1500's of England/Scotland. It's part 1 in a 4 part series about 4 Campbell siblings. I am in the beginning stages of editing "At First Glance" and I am also writing book 2 of the 4 part series and it is titled, "At First Touch." The second book is Sir Arthur Campbell(Brendan's brother) and Deirdre MacTavish's story.
