Historical romance. Inspirational historicals.
Tell us a little about you:
I began writing around 1989 after attending a family reunion, where my cousin, Nora Roberts, handed me a copy of one of her books.

Having always loved great historical fiction, my heart got racing toward a desire to write. Or I might truly admit that the desire was rekindled. In many of my stories, I write about the struggles endured by early colonists, with a mixture of both American and English history. Readers will find that my books do not follow a genre formula. I allow each story to take on a life of its own.

My newest novel 'Surrender the Wind', a romantic historical set in Virginia and England, is being published by Abingdon and will be released in August 09.

My favorite novels are:
Jane Eyre
Pride & Prejudice
Sense & Sensitibity
Jamaica Inn
Jenny Dorset
The Red Siren

New Historical Romance in the Spirit of Bronte and Sabatini

Hi All!

I apologize if you are receiving this more than once. I'm on several NING networks.

It's been several years since I published my last book. Hi Rita,

Got your comment. Thanks for stopping by.

I don't live in Maryland anymore, and regretably didn't make it to the bookstore, although it was on my list of things to do. Loved Maryland, but I'm busy not missing the cold right now.

I did meet Nora in San Francisco last July (RWA Literacy Signing). I took my Mom, who also loves Nora, and sadly, Mom was so busy getting books signed for others, she forgot to put her own book in the pile to be signed. She was so sad since we didn't discover it until after we'd gotten home. Been meaning to pop over to the online bookstore and order her a signed book for her birthday.

Again, thanks for popping by my page. :D I love meeting new people.

It's a small world, that's for sure! Be happy you don't live here anymore. Cold and snowy and taxes through the roof!
